Time Travel Tour
On 23 May, travel back in time on a fun, immersive tour of the village built on soap.
Join our Edwardian costumed character Miss Slater on a journey across Port Sunlight to learn about its history. In this immersive experience, you'll have the opportunity to meet costumed characters along the way, hold objects from the past and even get stuck into helping Mrs Richardson with her weekly wash day tasks!
This experience is recommended for our younger audiences ages 6 to 12. Due to the nature of the tour, all children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
The tour is on foot and is approximately 90 minutes, starting at SoapWorks and ending at The Worker's Cottage, 22 King George's Drive, by Port Sunlight Museum.
Under 3s go free and do not need a ticket.
Accessibility and facilities
The route of the tour is mostly flat with some slight slopes and standard pavement crossings. Wheelchair or mobility scooter-users are very welcome and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Assistance dogs are welcome. Baby-changing facilities and accessible toilets are available at SoapWorks and Port Sunlight Museum.
If you have a specific question about accessibility, please contact us by email - [email protected] - or call 0151 644 6466.
