Port Sunlight Walking Tour
Embark on a guided 90-minute journey on foot through one of the finest surviving industrial worker villages in the world.
Important information
Arriving
Tours depart and end at Port Sunlight Museum (23 King George's Drive, Port Sunlight, Wirral CH62 5DX). Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the tour begins and head to the welcome desk at Port Sunlight Museum with your e-ticket ready. This is so the tour can depart promptly.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Umbrellas are available to borrow for the duration of the tour.
Accessibility and facilities
Toilets including accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities are available at Port Sunlight Museum.
The route of the tour is mostly flat with some slight slopes and standard pavement crossings. We do not recommend the tour to people with limited mobility due to the consistent pace of the tour. Wheelchair or mobility scooter-users are very welcome and your tour guide will do everything they can to accommodate you. Assistance dogs are welcome inside Port Sunlight Museum.

Dogs
Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome to join you on the tour. Please be mindful of other guests on the tour and, of course, pick up any dog waste. Only assistance dogs are allowed inside Port Sunlight Museum.
Cancellations and refunds
Tours go ahead come rain or shine, and will only be cancelled in the event of severe weather or where there is a safety concern. If we cancel a walking tour due to bad weather or any other reason, you will be fully refunded or you can choose to move your booking to another date. If a tour is cancelled at short notice and you have already arrived, you will also have the option to receive a free self-guided tour map (depending on stock).
If you can no longer attend your tour for reasons outside of our control, we will not be able to offer a refund, however if you let us know with at least 24 hours notice, you can choose to move your booking to another date. Latecomers will not be given a refund, so we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your tour begins.
